Overall, 75.4% of current undergraduate UTAS students reported a positive educational experience. This figure, slightly above the national average of 74.4%, is based on feedback from 9,934 students, according to the Student Experience Survey (SES).

Unpleasant interactions

Only 31.1% of students felt positive about their interactions with staff and students, markedly below the national average of 51.8%. This statistic, derived from 9,933 responses, reflects student engagement with learning and their sense of belonging, including online communication.

Good outcomes

A year after graduating, the median income for UTAS graduates is $54,000, which is above the national median of $50,600. The income data, sourced from the Australian Taxation Office, includes earnings from full-time and part-time work, as well as other sources of income.
